Do I need an account to read Gun Ask?
No. Anyone can read questions, answers, and gear reviews. You only need a free account to post, vote, or save content.
Does my login work on the other Gun sites?
Yes. One free account works across all six sites — Price, Clear, Share, Transfer, Vault, and Ask. Sign in on any of them and you're signed in everywhere.
How do I ask a good question?
Be specific. Include your use case, budget, and what you've already considered. Add a category and, for legal questions, your state — it helps experienced owners and verified experts give you a precise answer.
What is Ghost Mode?
Ghost Mode lets you participate without showing your name publicly. Your email stays private either way. You can turn it on when you create your account.
How do I become a Verified Expert?

How do I turn on two-factor authentication?
Open your account settings and choose Enable under Security. You'll scan a QR code with an authenticator app.
Can Gun Ask help me transfer a firearm?
Gun Ask is a community resource and cannot arrange transfers. Use a licensed dealer — our sister site Gun Transfer can help.
