Stick to proven premium jacketed hollow points: Federal HST, Speer Gold Dot, Winchester Ranger/PDX1, or Hornady Critical Duty. They all meet FBI penetration/expansion standards and have long track records. More important than which one: run a box or two through YOUR gun to confirm 100% reliability before carrying it. Practice with same-weight FMJ to save money, carry the JHP you have verified.
